Ingredients:
- 1 pizza dough store-bought or homemade
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup fresh figs, sliced
- 1/2 cup red grapes, halved
- 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 4 slices prosciutto
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 475F 245C and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat up
Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into your desired shape and thickness
Transfer the rolled-out dough onto parchment paper for easy transfer to the hot pizza stone or baking sheet
Brush the olive oil evenly over the surface of the dough
Evenly distribute the sliced figs, halved grapes, and crumbled blue cheese over the oiled dough
Place the prosciutto slices on top of the other ingredients
Season the pizza with a pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper
Carefully transfer the parchment paper with the pizza onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet in the oven
Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned
Remove the pizza from the oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves, and let it cool for a minute before slicing
Serve your Waiheke Pizza with Figs, Grapes, Blue Cheese, and Prosciutto hot and enjoy!
