Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb bacon, chopped
- 1/2 lb smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 can 15 oz kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can 15 oz black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can 15 oz pinto beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can 15 oz diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
Cook the ground beef in a pan until it turns brown
Get rid of extra fat
Cook the bacon until it's crispy in the same pan
Get rid of extra fat
There are kidney beans, black beans, pinto beans, diced tomatoes, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, molasses, ketchup, chopped onion, minced garlic, chili powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper in the crock pot
The ground beef is already cooked
Make sure to stir everything together well
Don't open the lid
Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours, stirring every now and then
Serve hot after the beans are soft and the flavors are well mixed
Add the toppings of your choice, like sour cream, shredded cheese, or chopped green onions
